Assessment and Problem Resolution Planning
LICADD evaluates employees and their immediate family members for personal problems, such as alcohol and drug abuse, emotional and psychological problems, marital difficulties, relationship and family concerns, legal and financial issues. Open Arms EAP works with the employee/family member to determine the best course of action to resolve the problems at hand. Employees can contact us directly when the need arises and we happily accept employer-based referrals.
Referral, Follow-Up and Case Management Services
Where needed, referrals to qualified, screened, and affordable community resources are made. We coordinate all insurance benefits to lower costs and increase access to care. Our staff provide follow-up and case management according to individual need.
Short-term Solution-Focused Counseling
LICADD offers solution-focused professional counseling in cases where an employee’s problems are less severe in nature and do not require long-term counseling. Generally, clients are seen for up to six sessions before an outside referral is made.
Crisis Intervention and Critical Incident Debriefing
We offer telephone-based counseling and support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our trained professionals also offer critical incident debriefing for employees following a traumatic event, such as an act of physical violence, serious employee injury or death, or a natural disaster.
Management and Supervisor Consultation
Open Arms EAP provides confidential expert consultation to managers, supervisors and human resource professionals regarding workplace behavioral problems including strategies for performance improvement and risk management.
Data Collection, Management, and Reporting
Open Arms EAP provides comprehensive quarterly reports to HR personnel and management to assess EAP utilization and effectiveness.
Employee and Supervisor Training
Open Arms EAP conducts annual orientation trainings for employees and offers dynamic, interactive workshops focusing on sexual harassment, workplace violence, drug and alcohol abuse, stress management and dozens of other relevant topics.
EAP Promotion
We offer membership cards, brochures, posters, web content and a variety of other educational materials designed to inform management, supervisors and employees about Open Arms EAP.
