LICADD is pleased to announce that its 2012 Angel Ball, held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, was extremely successful, not only for the funds raised, but also for the overwhelming presence of the “Angels” who filled the room. Business and community leaders gathered in record numbers at the Oheka Castle last Wednesday night and raised $269,000 for LICADD’s alcohol and drug prevention and intervention programs for children and families. The turnout reinforces the growing need for such programs on Long Island, as well as the determination to help ensure that LICADD’s addiction services remain a vital part of the Long Island community.
