Jerry has worked as an addictions counselor for most of his career. After graduating from St. Bonaventure University with a Masters of Divinity, he went on to work for Catholic Charities Community Life Center as an addictions counselor. There, Jerry provided individual and group counseling, outreach education programs to schools and churches and volunteer services as a facilitator for Human Understanding and Growth Seminars (HUGS).
Jerry joined the LICADD team 21 years ago and now serves as the agency’s Senior Clinician/Intervention Coordinator. A credentialed Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), Jerry provides assessment and referral for addicted individuals and significant others, designs and implements addiction education programs, organizes and facilitate planned family interventions and provides employee assistance services for contracted unions, business and school districts.
