Comedians To Hold St. Patrick's Day Show to Benefit LICADD
February 18, 2011-The Long Island Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (LICADD) is excited to partner with “Recovery To Go” to bring well-known comedians Jesse Joyce, Just Plain Keith Goodwin, Cara Amore and Robert Cividanes to the Showplace at Bellmore at 8:00PM on Thursday, March 17, 2011, St. Patrick’s Day.
“We are thrilled to be able offer families a great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, in a fun, safe, alcohol-free environment. You can come have some laughs and feel really good about helping kids at the same time” said LICADD’s Executive Director, Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go to fund LICADD’s alcohol and drug intervention programs for local children and families. LICADD is teaming up with Bellmore restaurants such as Piccolo Ristorante to provide coupons for our patrons to use the evening of the show and in exchange, they will donate a portion back to LICADD! Tickets are $25 in advance via this link and $35 the night of the show.
Teri Kroll, PUSH-LI coordinator said, “I am looking forward to a great night out to celebrate the holiday and support LICADD’s efforts to end the addiction crisis. As a mom, I know how important it is to be able to offer our kids a fun and exciting alternative to celebrate this holiday. I hope everyone will come out and support the show and LICADD’s programs.”
