Nassau Heroin Summit Successful

Led by Nassau County Executive Tom Suozzi, Monday’s heroin summit was a success and LICADD was pleased to participate in this landmark event.

LICADD’s Executive Director Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds was one of seven featured panelists that included NCPD Commissioner Larry Mulvey, DA Kathleen Rice, Arlene Sanchez from Nassau County Drug and Alcohol, Legislator Dave Meijas, Dr. Frank McCorry from OASAS and Susan Woodbury, Asst. Superintendent of Massapequa Schools. Also playing a critical role were representatives from the DEA, FBI, US Attorney’s Office, Parole, Probation, Family Court, NUMC, North Shore University Hospital and treatment providers who are part of the Nassau Alliance for Addiction Services (NAFAS).
